Weigh Day!!

Today is my new Weigh Day because of going back to work I will now be weighed on a Thursday evening. I am so pleased to say that I have lost 2 & 1/2 lbs!

I have also lost 2 inches on my waist. That is a great result after the last 2 weeks that I have had.
I put it all down to staying on track and eating good meals everyday.

I also went to boot camp twice and Zumba class once which has me exhausted but more than pleased I did it.

The plan is to stick to the plan :-D!!! I have 7 lbs exactly to lost to reach my goal weight so I am really going to buckle down and shift the last few and tone my tummy at the same time.

Happy for this great result, hope all of you out there have had a good week too.

Weigh Day!!

Weigh Day was Friday morning an yet again for the 2nd week running I was up 1 lb!!

What is going on?! I can't understand - I am hoping that the gain is muscle as it supposed to weigh more than fat.

I was eating home made meals and plenty of fruit for lunch and drinking plenty of water, but I am thinking that my downfall may have been breakfast as I have gone back to work and I am still in the process of moving home so breakfasts were a bit of fruit walking to work which is not the best way of having brekkie!!

I still had my exercise as I went to Zumba and Bootcamp but did not do my stomach exercise as I have done previously so that will be top on my list this week.

Here's hoping that the scales will be in my favour next week.

Weigh Day!!

So Friday was weigh day and I was disappointed to find out that I had gained 1 lb. This is the first time that I have actually gained weight since before Christmas so it was a minor set back but to be honest I know exactly where I went wrong. Our leader asked us all in class do we think we deserved the result we got on the scales? Well for me I feel I completely deserved it as I did not track for most of the week and I had a few takeaways. I was moving house this week and was not prepared for making home made dinners so most nights were getting food delivered- I know! The worst thing I could have been eating. At least I only gained 1 lb and not anymore but it will give me the push I need to keep me on track. So I will make sure I track all this week and hopefully be down next week.

Stretch Marks

Monday was my fourth session of laser treatment for getting rid of my stretch marks. I have noticed a huge improvement from the last session. They are very difficult to see from a just a few feet away at the moment so I can imagine what way they will be when my treatment is actually finished. I am extremely thrilled as I did not feel it was working when I was at my last appointment. I have 2 sessions left and I am feeling really optimistic that I will get the result I was hoping for. The skin where the stretch marks are is really smooth now even though it was deep to begin with which is fantastic. I also think that the weight I have lost is a huge factor in the improvements as I am doing stomach exercise to tone my tummy the skin is getting firm and I don't seem to have much of a "mummy tummy" anymore.

I haven't had much feed back from anyone receiving this treatment only hearsay. I have had a few enquiries from other woman that have recently had a baby so I would love to have some proof for them as they want to try the treatment but as it is expensive I understand that no body wants to go pay for something that they are not entirely sure will work.
I came across a blog that has some info in regards to this treatment but I would like to hear from somebody that had completed the treatment and get their views on their results.

The Blog is smartgirlconsulting.com

If any of you have had the treatment or know a friend that had it, then it would be great to hear from you.

Weigh Day!!

This morning I went to weight watchers to get weiged as I am working in the morning. I am so pleased to say that I have lost 3 &1/2 lbs this week!! I know - what a great result. I received my 10% book which means that I have lost 10% of my total BMI. Also on top of that I recieved my 2nd silver 7!!! I am still grinning :-)

My weight now stands at 9 stone 10&1/2 lbs. I was told that this could be my goal weight but as I feel I could lose a small few more lbs I was told that going down to 9 stone 4 will still be a healthy weight so that will be my official goal weight. I am soo pleased that after months of trying I am so close to reaching my goal weight.

My measurements have also changed.
I have lost 1 inch on my waist.
I have lost 2 inches on my bust.
I have lost 1/2 an inch on my hips.

This week I tracked everything I ate. I also went for a meal in a Chinese and chose King prawn chow mein as it seemed one of the healthiest options and I am still eating a lot of fish so it seemed the best thing to order. I drank lots of water and ate lots of fruit also. The fact that I was writing down everything I ate made it a lot easier to avoid all the things I shouldn't eat as I did not want to write down those things.

I also joined a boot camp with the local gym - Leisure world in Churchfield which was fantastic! It is lots of running, jogging, crunches and other stomach exercises. There was a free trial last night so myself and a few of the girls went along to try it out. It will run for 4-6 weeks from what I can remember and will be 3 days a week. Although I will only more than likely do 2 days some weeks because of work I have every intention of turning up whenever I can. There were lot of other woman there which was great and it was outdoors which was something I was really pleased about as I never get to go much activities outdoors except walking so this ticks all the boxes for me. I will be keeping everyone informed about the boot camp in the coming weeks. This will help with all the toning that I need and I will also attend 1 Zumba class a week as I love it too much.

I hope all of you out there have had a good week. Let me know if you have joined a boot camp or something like it on your area and how it helped?

Measurements and Weight to date

I have just checked my measurements. I went to the chemist and they have free measuring tapes in association with safefood.eu. There are really good tips on their site too.

So my measurements are:

Bust       37        inches
Waist     34        inches
Hips       37 1/2 inches

Also my current weight is now exactly 10 stone. This means I have lost a total 12 & 1/2 lbs since I joined Weight Watchers last July.

I will be keeping track of my measurements on Weigh Days to see how they change in the next few months.

Weigh Day!!

It is that day of the week again - Weigh Day and I pleased to say that I have lost 1/2 a lb! It is still a great result considering a gave in to the pizza at the start of the week. I am so pleased to be back on track working to my goal weight. I have been doing myexercises both at home and my classes. I also tracked everything I ate and made wise food choices. I know that I am getting in shape only for myself so there is no point in trying to cheat myself beacauses that just defeats the purpose. So I will be sticking to it this time as I really want to be confident for summer. I have booked my summer holidays to Fuertaventura in August so until that date comes it will gove me the determination to keep going. I do not want to be looking back in a few months time looking for more time as I can achieve a lot in the time that I have now.

The weather was extremely good yesterday si I went for a walk bright and early at 8.30 am and walked to the supermarket around lunch time with my partner and our baby. It was an exausting walk back home but was definitely well worth it.
I also did my stomach exercises last night at home. I dread the time of the night when I have to do them but they take less than 10 mins so I just push through. I just have to keep reminding myself that it will be all worth it in the the long run. I am working towards a flat tummy and that makes me soo excited so the pain will have to be endured :-).

I hope all of you have had a good week also.
